Today's Run

Our first run in June turned out to be a pleasant happening. Seventeen people participated. We had a number of newer faces and one first timer.  Two friends of Christine joined us and two friends of Beth joined us again and have officially joined the group.  Welcome to Jamie and Arnette!  Also, Jack from Colorado has joined ORC and returned to run with us for the second Sunday in a row.

 

Also, Jessica from Waterford Lake came out for a test drive and Debbie ran the distance with her. (Jessica, I am adding you to the list and would like you to please confirm that you wish to receive our weekly e-mails.)  I assume Cheryl will be contacting you shortly to give you the scoop on the ORC evening runs.

 

My Talk last Thursday evening

Thanks very much to those of you who attended my talk last week.  I was psyched by the turnout, which included good representation from our group, the Winter Park Dawgs, Marathonfest, Galloway group and other runners and non-runners.  I did not get an accurate count, but my guess is that we had upwards of 70 attendees.  I expect that we will add a person or two to our group from the attendees.

 

ORC Race into Summer
