Need for Warm Clother

Today I received an e-mail from Diane Merritts whom you will recall participated in our blanket collection drive in November. Part of her note is pasted below. It brings home the point that there are some real needs out there. I thought I would share her friend's needs with you in the event you feel you might be able to help. Here is Diane' s message:

"I do have a friend who needs a coat. She doesn't have a car and is riding her bike everywhere (she is a single mom with a daughter). She is about my size, size 10-12, or a large in a women's, if you happen to know anyone with an extra. She probably needs gloves and scarf and hat too. Wish I had the extra money to just go take her shopping but I'm hurting too, slow time of year for personal training."

So if any of you are able to respond to Diane's request, please feel free to contact her directly, or let me know. Normally, I don't forward requests like this to our Sunday e-mail list, but given this lady's situation, the cold weather and our closeness to Christmas, it seemed like the right thing to do.
