Sunday Run Update

After two weeks of being AWOL, I got back from Europe late Tuesday evening and ran Wednesday morning with Chris and Liz to trick my body clock back to EST. It was ugly! Chris and Liz said we added a new recruit while I was away and also had a visitor from Scotland! My, aren't we achieving international notoriety!

Then I opened my e-mail and found a surprising number of inquiries about joining the group on Sundays. One is from a runner from Brazil who will be here on his honeymoon. Two are from out-of-towners who will be visiting here. Two more are local runners wishing to join up with us. So we should be seeing some new faces over the coming Sundays!

Also had a nice e-mail from Chateau, the young Air Force Captain visiting from Stuttgart, Germany a few weeks back. Before she left, she had volunteered to drive up to run with me in one of the German towns I visited on our river cruise!! I graciously declined, but was blown away by such a nice offer!
