Hope all of you having a great July 4th. The Watermelon race had quite a turnout, over 2600 if I got the number right. For many of us it was a family run day. My wife and daughter walked and my 5 year old grand daughter did the Kiddy race. An uplifting experience to see all the families who turned out.
As expected, Chris played a great rendition of the Star Spangled Banner at race start, as we knew he would. His family also was there. Congratulations, Chris, on an inspiring and flawless delivery. Those high notes were memorable!
