What a glorious morning it was! With an extra hour of sleep under our belts (or pillows) the large assembled group was in rare form. We had over two dozen runners show up for today's blanket run! The weather was perfect and the company great. As if to acknowledge the occasion, one of the new light rail trains passed through
At this point, we've collected about 150 blankets. Three dozen blankets have already been delivered to the Men's' Shelter and Dave Berry will be delivering today's collection tomorrow. A special thanks to Dave who has been a key player on deliveries for many of our collections! Deep thanks for your generosity!
I'll share the final results of our outreach as soon as I'm able to track the rest of our participants efforts, including the Winter Park Dawgs (who both collect and deliver blankets they collect), Reedy Creek Middle School, and St. Margaret Mary Church, where I expect a healthy number of blankets to be collected at all Masses today.
Beyond this, we also have the Woodlands Apartment Community which has recently joined in our collection effort.

Me and my mom are runners, we're part of a group just like you, we run everyday and the relationship between us exceed the practices and races. It become a family; we all share, morning work outs, long term trainings (and then a well gained breakfast), disappointments and joy. I know you know what I'm talking about.
A few months ago, I was looking for running groups in Orlando, FL because we're going there on December. Firstable I was looking for races between December 21st and 27th, but I didn't found any, so I decided to look for running groups because I thought it would be cool to share with others sth that we love so much (even internationally).
