Today's Run
A dozen of us closed out our last Sunday run in July. Cheryl's dog Pumpkin made it a baker's dozen. For me it was my second-last run as a 78 year old. Two weeks hence I will turn 79 and if my hamstring co-operates, I plan to run 7.9 miles, my long standing (and I mean loooong-standing custom on the "Big Days". Please come join me if you can!!

News from Dylan
Dylan is not taking a vacation from running. He reported it this morning that he
survived the Blessing of the Fleet 10-Miler in Narragansett RI, and witnessed an awesome rainbow over the ocean at the finish line which is captured below.
He reports that he covered the course in 1:45, scant five minutes slower than last year. Which he attributes to the toxic combination of age and humidity. Always alert to recruiting runners for our Sunday group he met a young lady along the route who turned out to be from the Dr. Phillips area. He tried to recruit her to join us on our Sunday morning run. That's why Dylan gets paid the big bucks!
Next Saturday he will be tackling the John and
