Today's Run
We had about a dozen people show up for the run today, including one young lady who arrived after the group left. She left a note on my car that she missed us, but thanks to Kim and Claudia, I already know by mile 2 that she goofed. She wanted to talk to us about running shoes, but she has missed her opportunity. I already had second thoughts about using our group as a marketing target and am now resolved not to allow for that again!
It was great to have Lytle in our midst on her trip back from
As you know our ranks were depleted by the Disney weekend gala, which has turned out to be on the warm side for marathons and half marathons! We urge those of you who ran to end our suspense and report in as soon as you are again functional.
Half
Have a great week!

PS: I continue to try to clean up our distribution list to include only runners who still plan to join us whey can. I had an e-mail today from Christy W whom we haven't seen in an age. She continues to keep in touch with us and had some wonderful news to celebrate. She is engaged to be married in May and plans to bring this luck guy out to meet the group before then. Christine is a breast cancer survivor who trained with us to do her first marathon in New York City several years back. He schedule makes it difficult for her to get out on Sunday mornings, but she unfailingly manages to stay in touch. Our best wishes, Christy and please come see us soon.
