Despite an 80 degree temperature and a schedule conflict with the ORC picnic timing, a dozen brave souls showed up for our run this morning. Oh yeah, there also was an Autumn Run 5K race yesterday at which at least ten of the group, including myself, participated.
Rose, as usual, placed first in her age group. Kelly place 2nd in the age 20 group. Congratulations to both of you! Kelly's Sister Meghann also raced. It's been a long time since we have seen the "Sister Act" out for a Sunday run! Hope you can come join us soon.
We welcomed two new faces this morning. Jari hosted Brendon, a colleague from work. Courtney also joined us, along with her husband who biked along with her. Courtney and her colleague Tammy had joined us a few weeks ago to pass out samples of a Mix l drink. True to her word at the time, she did come back to run with us.
November 7 Blanket Run update

· I expect that the
· I have contacted the Orlando Women's Running Group, but have not yet heard back from them. If any of you have contacts with the group, I would appreciate your efforts to get their participation.
· As I indicated last week, I invite your input on this project. We need volunteers to assist in the collection and delivery of the blankets, so please let me know if you can help. We will need trucks for both the collection and transporting efforts.
Have a great week!
