Weekend Race Update

Here's a brief update on weekend race results:

 

Race results from this past week-end:

Wendy: Reporting on the Myrtle Beach Half:  "It took almost 3 years to finally PR a half marathon. 2:10:04"!

 

No word from Jamie and Arnette, who also ran Myrtle Beach

 

Carly:  Reported that she and Kerry ran a triple header 5K, 10K and Half Marathon in Bethlehem. "The weather was cold but the scenery along the hilly course was beautiful.  Of the three races, I think we agreed that the 10k was our favorite race.  I finished in 1:04, which was faster than I expected considering the difficulty level of the course."

Rose: " Rich and I just returned from a weekend in Louisville.  Great victory for UCF.  I also ran the Great Pumpkin 10K  on a rainy cold Saturday morning and placed 3rd in my age group. Great course."

 

Gina  has not yet reported in on her 10 miler in D.C.  Hope it went well, Gina.

Updated Near-term Race Schedule

Simone, one of our newer and younger members, is scheduled to do Space Coast as her first marathon and then the new Celebration Marathon.  That's a full platter, Simone!  Good luck.
