From our guest runners last Sunday
From Emily of St. Croix: Thanks so much for letting me run with you guys! You are a great group - so welcoming. I was so happy not to have to run 15 miles on the treadmill! If I'm ever back in Orlando, I'll look you guys up again.
From Sue of Baltimore: Thanks to you and the rest of the ORC for the great run Sunday. Perfect day for it, and running on a cool day (and better training cycle) I was able to keep a pace about a minute and a half faster per mile than last year. Special thanks to Carol for keeping me going at a good clip, for great stories and for sharing her Nuun sports drink. It was a terrific run, and gave the day a wonderful start. Hope to see you all next year!

Seasons 52 5.2K Race
My best estimate is that we had at least 14 runners competing, only half of which I got to chat with. Great race conditions and a turnout of 2351 people. I saw Chris, Billy, Dave, Geralynn (all the way from Satellite Beach), Wendy and Dede. Thank you, Dave, for keeping my mind off the pace for a spell in the last mile. It helped tremendously and it was good to see you back on the race circuit.
Missed seeing Rose, Barbara, Liz, Cheryl, Dylan, Jay and John. (And maybe some more of you?) Congratulations to Rose on her age group first place. Rose's closest competitor was about five minutes behind her!
Today's Run
At 6:58AM this morning, Park Avenue looked like a ghost town. Then suddenly we had a bunch of shivering runners emerge from out of nowhere, 15 people by my count. Not bad for a post-race 39 degree morning.
